Proc::Forking It is an Object Oriented insterface to fork() It allow to fork a function with change of UID, GID, ROOT Creation of PID files is possible It is possible to set a LOAD 1 min. limit to prevent forking if the computer is to busy It is possible to limit the maximal number of process to launch. It is possible to put a minimal memory free before forking It is possible to put an expiration time (automatic or by request) A daemonize function allow to put the parent process in daemon mode.
